Team&Team

A WASH-Specialized International Relief and Development NGO

With 27 years of expertise in water and sanitation, we are working toward a world where no one is left without access to clean water.

WHY WATER?

Because water is where all change begins.

Life

With access to safe water and basic sanitation, an estimated 297,000 children under the age of five could be saved every year.(WHO)

Education

Across many regions in Africa, especially for girls, time spent collecting water means lost time in school. When water is brought closer to communities and schools, girls gain significantly more time for education and school attendance.

Climate Change

Water is the resource most affected by the climate crisis — and at the same time, the key to building resilience against it. Access to clean water strengthens communities' climate resilience and lays the foundation for planting trees and growing crops.

Our work

We believe that clean water is where all change begins. Building on that foundation, we work to address interconnected challenges — from agriculture and nutrition to health, hygiene education, gender equality, and climate change.

Access to clean water releases communities from billions of hours spent collecting water, while every $1 invested in water and sanitation generates an estimated $4 or more in economic returns.(WHO)
